Tonight I am sharing the card I made using the April digital image from Gerda Steiner which I will submit for her monthly card challenge.  Read all about her challenge and see all of her adorable digital images and stamp products on her web site.
I am not usually drawn to purple, but I wanted to find a use for a pot of Grape Fizz Perfect Pearls powder from Ranger.  I created the background with a stamp from Hero Arts and versamark ink, then brushed the perfect pearls powder on--the powder sticks to the  clear, sticky ink and the excess can be brushed off, leaving shimmery color on the stamped images.  The sentiment is also a stamp from Hero Arts--I used versamark and the same perfect pearls powder to highlight the word cream.  The I colored the little coffee girl using my Copic markers and tried my hand at some coppery-red hair.  Last, I added some white gel pen dots to the dress, Wink of Stella glitter brush marker and glossy accents to the heard on the cup, and mounted the little girl on foam tape for a bit of dimension.
